Rides From Rosemont May 22, 2010
Rides from Rosemont is a program that selects children in need from Columbus and the surrounding areas and provides them with a new bicycle from Huffy Bicycle Company, locks from the Bell Company, fitted helmets supplied by Pro-Rider, and a new book from Dorling Kindersley Publishing.  We believe that providing children with this gift teaches responsibility, builds self-esteem, teaches a sense of ownership and helps exercise the mind and the body.  These skills are necessary lessons in helping our children grow to become successful adults.   But, we need your help to make this event a success! We invite you to help us turn young lives around in your community. Here's how you can make a difference: Sponsor a child for a new bicycle, helmet, lock and rules of the road information. Our goal is to give away 225 bicycles this year.  To support one child the cost is $62.00!! Volunteer your time to help assemble Huffy Bicycles on Saturday April 24, 2010. Volunteer to help distribute the bicycles to the children May  22, 2010 at Rosemont.
