Development Projects

For over 145 years Rosemont Center has been providing Help, Healing and Hope for children and their families.

Each and every child has value beyond measure. Even children with a history of trouble or abuse. For these children, life hurts. That can lead to behavioral and emotional problems that, in turn, make realizing and achieving personal potential a challenge.

We serve the most vulnerable young people in Central Ohio. At Rosemont Center, we believe growth and change for these youth are the product of consistent, ongoing help and support from professionals and volunteers who truly care. Who offer unconditional acceptance. And who see families as a source of strength and solutions.

With the help of the individuals, foundations, and corporations who share our mission, Rosemont Center brings help, healing and hope to the youth in our community who need it most.

Our goal is to raise $700,000 via our giving campaign to help us continue offering quality services in the community. Won't you please make a contribution to help make sure Rosemont can offer Help, Healing, Hope for the next 145 years. Every donation, no matter the size is greatly appreciated, listed below are a few ways your dollars will help us maintain our current services.

RIDES FROM ROSEMONT

Rides from Rosemont is a program that selects children in need from Rosemont and the surrounding schools and provides them with a new bicycle from Huffy Bicycle Company, locks from the Bell Company, fitted helmets supplied by Pro-Rider. We believe that providing children with this gift teaches responsibility, builds self-esteem, teaches a sense of ownership and helps exercise the mind and the body. These skills are necessary lessons in helping our children grow to become successful adults.

But, we need your help to make this event a success! We invite you to help us turn young lives around in your community. Here's how you can make a difference:

- Sponsor a child for a new bicycle, helmet, lock and rules of the road information. Our goal is to give away 250 bicycles this year. To support one child the cost is $72.00

- Volunteer your time to help assemble Huffy Bicycles together on Saturday April 28, 2012

- Volunteer to help distribute the bicycles to the children on May 5, 2012 at Rosemont Center.

Your consideration and support to help troubled youth and families in need this year is greatly appreciated. If you have questions, please contact Deb Huff, dhuff@rosemont.org or at 614-416-8775.  Rosemont Center is a 501 c3 organization and donations are tax deductible.  Please label all contributions for “Rides from Rosemont” on your payment or sponsorship.
